Whether you're a local or a visitor, Bayona is a top choice for a memorable and delicious meal in the heart of NOLA.
BAYONA Still the finest cuisine in New Orleans after 20 years of enjoyment as a diner. Great service and atmosphere and value. Dishes were exquisite. Keep up the good work!!
This was our third time visiting this restaurant. We made our reservation awhile ago. We enjoyed the food and service but the experience could have been better if we weren’t seated next to a supply area with staff constantly going near our table to grab supplies—the worse table in the patio. However the patio is beautiful. We had the lamb loin medium rare with goat cheese topping, potatoes and a couple of asparagus. The dish was very good. The cannoli dessert was okay.
Enjoyed the duck offering. Very flavorful on a well-warmed plate, though some slices were a bit tough. White wine suggested was beyond its prime to the extent it had an amber color. Otherwise great dining experience. Attentive service.
I had not been to Bayona for awhile and was totally overwhelmed with their new chef. The food was fantastic from the appetizers to the dessert. I will certainly be back again very soon. Susan Spicer continues to make Bayona one of the best restaurants not only in New Orleans but in the world and I've dined from Madrid to London New York and can't find any restaurant that surprasses the menu, presentation and taste than Bayona.
Food was bordering on terrible. Barbecued shrimp dish was four little shrimps that tasted like they were in the fridge for a week. Main course of lamb loin $44 was tough and tasteless. To add insult to injury we were seated next to a family with a bawling baby when the restaurant was half full. How this restaurant has a good rating is hard to figure. Avoid if possible.
