Balcony Bar & Cafe, The - New Orleans

Great bar with a great view of the magazine street.

While in a new place my mantra is to taste local brews. Had one of the local craftsmen beers Abita and was satisfied with it. I regret that I don't see the name of recording an image. Most came to sit on the balcony and overlook the streets and views and take a break from our NOLA adventures. Bartender was really cool and knows many local culture and events, had great recommendations from various local bars.

It is one of my favorite bars in this section of the magazine. Good crowd, fun up and down. Beverage selection is great and they pour quite strongly. Great for night and day.

Came to the balcony on the second floor. Very nice view of the magazine road. After two samples I took a local IPA. Forget to ask what it is. Double and kitchen upstairs.

Nice place for drinks, not too busy when we arrived, bartender was cool and offered many entertaining stories. The drinks were delicious and strong.
