Applewood's Restaurant in New Minas kudos to them. I was part of a large group celebrating a birthday supper last night. They were short staffed, but our lovely efficient waitress (didn't get her name) served us well and their liver and onions is the best! Fabulous chocolate dessert shared by all as well. Their wide variety of meals had by all were delicious and a great price point. And they use fresh veggies!! View all feedback.

After contemplating trying this restaurant for several months, my husband and I decided to go for brunch on a Sunday after church. Upon entering, we did not find it to be a welcoming atmosphere. The place was very drab and painted in a dark gray color which made for a rather gloomy decor. Had heard many good things about this restaurant, but went to dine out with my family on the civic holiday and they were not open !!!
Applewoods in New Minas has been a welcome addition to ther local restaurants in the area. This has been my second visit, the first was for brunch which was a hit so we had to try it for dinner! Nice clean restaurant with a very nice drink menu, plenty of choices for all tastes on the main menu and very good food at reasonable prices. The service is quite good too! Try it you won't be disappointed!
Recommended by the local motel we arrived right at closing and were welcomed anyway. The exterior of the place belies what is available inside. Good food. The service was great even though we keep them past closing. I would eat their again anytime.
We dropped in for a quick supper and were greeted with fast attentive service even though the restaurant was almost full, then very good food and a pleasant surprise of a lower-than-expected bill. It was our second visit and we like the many different choices on the menu (I had wild boar burger), overall a very nice spot.
Good evening. Our first visit to your restaurant tonight and much enjoyed our time. The service was efficient, friendly and personal. The food was very enjoyable. We live local and plan to return. We had 3 challenges tonight. First was that our silverware had food still stuck on and we needed to ask for replacements. Second, our garden salad contained leaves that had begun to go rotten and we removed them. Third, in the men's bathroom the counter must have had bleach on the edge as my shorts came home with bleach stains in the front. We would apppreciate attention to these items and perhaps something to make up for the negatives in our experience most especially some recompense for the damaged clothing.
