L'Orcio offers a taste of Italy with homemade dishes, delicious pastas, and fantastic cocktails and wines. While some diners found the service lacking and experienced delays with their meals, overall reviews praised the excellent food quality and service. Special shoutouts were given to standout servers like Cat and Adonnea, making dining experiences memorable. The atmosphere was praised for its cozy ambiance and great music selection. Despite a few misses with slow service and lackluster cocktails, L'Orcio remains a go-to spot for authentic Italian cuisine in the New Haven region. Don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy a great dining celebration with friends and family.

Stopped by for a drink dessert. We ordered one of everything on the dessert menu and all were great. The bartender was very pleasant.

My first visit to this restaurant was a great experience. Our server, Alexis, offered helpful recommendations from the menu. We enjoyed a delicious Mediterranea Salad with fresh greens and a perfectly dressed Pasta Carbonara Cavatelli alla Norma. We also had two glasses of Montepulchiano and indulged in a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. I can't wait to return.

Went here during restaurant week and was not a fan. Ordered lamb chops off the regular menu as I know sometimes the restaurant menu is mass produced. The food wasn't good. Lamb wasn't seasoned, too well done and wasn't grilled. Looked baked and as if hadbeen sitting. Brussel sprouts were salty and the Nutella crepe for dessert was lukewarm at best and served without ice cream orwhipped cream. The service was good and they were accommodating to my last minute request to move my reservation 30 minuteslater due to traffic. I'm disappointed as I've visited a few years ago during restaurant week and the food was good.

My boyfriend and I went to have dinner excited about the good reviews, but were surprisingly disappointed. We ordered the cheese platter and oysters as starters; the oysters were ok, although they were served with ketchup on the side which to me is aculinary crime and the cheese platter seemed a bit overpriced considering that one out of the four cheeses served appeared to beparmesan that hadn’t been grated. We then had pasta for dinner which took quite a bit to come out of the kitchen, althoughwith covid personnel shortages could be understandable, but tasted bland. I definitely won’t be coming back.
