Feedback
Looking for a new dining experience, this restaurant offers a mix of positive and negative reviews. While some diners were disappointed with the service and bland food, others found it to be a hidden gem. The shellfish dishes were a letdown for some, but the desserts and drinks received high praise. The intimate and casual environment was a hit with many patrons. Overall, the restaurant has potential, with some customers planning to return for another meal.
Atelier Florian is a hidden gem. We visited for brunch on New Year's Eve and were pleasantly surprised. My two boys loved the waffles, my wife enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, and I tried the croque monsieur - all delicious. We also ordered mussels with white wine, which were fantastic. We can't wait to come back for dinner soon!
I absolutely adored the ambiance of the restaurant, with its classic floor and setup reminiscent of an old building in New Haven. The service at the bar was excellent and we were treated to delicious oysters with homemade cocktail sauce. I highly recommend trying the mussels and frites as well - they were both delicious and served in large portions.
After we ordered, our server came back to tell us that one of the main courses was not available. While we were finishing up our main course, the server brought the check (though we had not requested it) and never asked if we'd like dessert or coffee. We asked another server for three coffees and after a wait, they returned with three lukewarm espressos. Just not a good experience overall
Delicious brunch loved the oysters and croque madame
While I enjoyed it he meal the menu changes since I last went seemed a bit pedestrian.
