The wine list is good, but the bar/cocktail options... read more The restaurant at this hotel is pleasant overall, with good service from the wait staff and delicious food. The wine list is good, but the bar/cocktail options are limited - if it's not on the list, they can't make it. However, our experience was soured by a grumpy host/manager who made us feel unwelcome upon arrival. Our main dishes didn't arrive together, so by the time we chased down the missing meal, everyone else's food was cold. And to top it off, there was carpet in the toilets, even inside the cubicles.

We had originally planned to dine there three times, but decided to cancel our third reservation. While the food was tasty, it was not particularly inspiring. The portions were small and we felt that the prices were too high for what we received. Additionally, the dining room was cold on both evenings and we had to ask twice to have the window closed. My husband ended up wearing a sweater over his shirt, while I had to grab a blanket from a basket in the hallway to stay warm.
