Tapatios - New Castle

Great service and great food! It?s so refreshing to find a Mexican Food restaurant that has vegetarian options with actual vegetables (as opposed to bean and cheese being the only ?veggie? option. I had the veggie chimichanga.

The food was very good and of good quality, the server was friendly however at the time we were there was in-between lunch and dinner so the server was busy with his side work..atmosphere was blah and we thought it was a little pricey.. mountain towns are more expensive. May return sometime in the future and try them again...

Food is ok and the people are nice. One star because it's pricey and they skimp on the rice and beans. Got a super burrito to go which thier menu says comes served with rice and beans but I didn't get any. I should have checked my order before I left but I hate that that is my responsibility. I should get what I paid for plain and simple I shouldn't have to double check. My wife got a taco plate that did come with rice and beans but a very small portion of it. Not worth the $40 I spent by a long shot. Would happily change my review if they make it right.

Stopped in for lunch on my to Kanab, UT. They quickly started us off with a bowl of tortilla chips with salsa and a bowl of a cabbage slaw. I would have liked the chips salted more, but the salsa and slaw were good. My wife wanted a light lunch and ordered 2 carnitas tacos while I had the carnitas burrito with rice and refried beans. Their carnitas were very good. My burrito was completely filled with meat! Couldn't have been better. Stop in and see them in New Castle, CO; you'll love it!

I had high expectation for this place. Resturant was clean from outside and clean from the inside. Its says family own bussiness so i have it a shot. The tortillas was serve very warm and their salsa thats come with it taste good.thier water/soda Cup was huge. So we refill our drinks just once on our entire course. Food pricing was fair. Then we got our order and we are all dissapointed. Chicken torta, Carne Asada, chicken Mole and their shrimp food was really taste bad. We didnt even finished it and we didnt bother to take it home with us. It was sad because we wanted to support our local bussiness here especially family own bussiness but this is really not it.. maybe if they change their style or their cook, this place has potential. But if not i wouldn't recomend going and eating on this resturant. That will be our first and our last visit to that place.
