Taco Cabana - New Braunfels

I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. The staff was friendly but extremely slow. We ended up requesting a refund. They also forgot our drinks. It seemed like they were understaffed, which caused the slow service.

The food at Taco Cabana is fantastic, with unbeatable menu options. The only downside is that they seem to be short-staffed. If you're looking for a job, this could be a great opportunity! Additionally, their to-go margaritas are delicious, especially the watermelon margarita. Don't miss out on trying it! Head to Taco Cabana now!

Despite the long line, the mangonada margarita at this restaurant was not up to par. The flavor was more like tequila and chili pepper with barely any mango taste. I was disappointed to wait in line for so long and pay $6 for a small margarita that didn't taste good. I would not recommend this place.

Yesterday I had the worst culinary experience I remember. The sad part is that Taco Cabana used to be great, but not anymore. Let me be careful. First we go in and are informed that the AC is broken. Okay, that happens, but it gets worse. I'm not sure where to start. AC down, and not even the interior fans are up. Tables are dirty. Salsa Bar is empty and I mean empty). The staff thought it was funny. The patio is closed and looks like the Hulk was there. The orders were completely screwed and cost as old shoe leather. This place has every hint to be on the last legs, ready to close. The other one in New Braunfels did, so maybe this one is not far. You can do better than this dump.

Quality of food not great. My soft Taco was old, it was getting hard. They did not put in a fork, no napkins and I didn't get my water bottle either. At 5 pm the dine in area was closed, so we would have to go through the drive through again to get the missing things. And they take the orders so slow. Not going back there. Not sure if I ll try a different location.
