Best restaurant in Gruene hands down!! The staff and management is top tier, highly recommend their patio seating. The Balsamic Ribeye and the Black Berry Cobbler are absolutely explosive in quality taste! Jason their GM is all about making their customers satisfied, and I couldn’t agree more! What PHIL SIMON doesn't like about Gruene River Grill:
No pets allowed and nobody knows why. We have an Chihuahua in a bag and they got an outside area. But no flexibility and then the note that we can sit outside at Pizza Station with our pets. How cheeky. View all feedback.
Favorite spot in town, and where I'd say the locals eat.
Great place and vibe, really old school, and amazing, to be honest. The food was incredibly good. Everyone at the table enjoyed it all. Steak, salmon, and country fried chicken were great, and I had one of the best mashed potatoes I ever had before. The server took amazing care of us, too.
We know food. We eat at a lot of restaurants and this one is AMAZING!! Being from Louisiana, I know good food and good flavor- this place has it!! In my opinion , this restaurant exceeds 5 stars!!! Best food we’ve had in Gruene!!
I used to love this place but last time I went my server Jadelyn messed our order up and we didn't get refills at all the entire time we were there. Food was good as usual but service was -10/10
