What User doesn't like about Freiheit Country Store:
The service during lunch was excellent, but I was disappointed with my thin and dried-out hamburger steak. The mashed potatoes had a gray color with dark skins mashed in, and were only warm, not hot. The green beans were good, however. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but today's experience left me disappointed. I may give them one more chance to see if the quality improves. Friendly family dining with home style cooking. The burgers are amazing and huge! I did not have room for dessert! They have a bar, music and dancefloor just steps away in the building outside the back door! Fun atmosphere and friendly attentive staff! Loved the Bailey's in my coffee, just right for a freezing evening. I love this place! They even have an ice cream parlor ?
Great place! Went with my wife and son for lunch and the food was great. We sat outside but there is an inside part for the traditional restaurant setting. They have a playground for kids which was nice while we waited, it kept our son occupied so we could chat. My wife and I will be going to check out the night life since they have an outdoor venue for live music. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Cute spot. Feels cozy. The outdoor bar and patio is really pretty. Service kinda slow but we went on a Saturday so it was busy. Salad was basic should’ve got the burger. Fries tasted amazing. Would’ve been 5 stars if they didn’t keep forgetting our drinks and side orders.
We thought they were the rehearsal of my life. let me just say it was 104 degrees this evening and the fans and the fog system helped to cool down the dinge. kerry, the contact for the event was amazing from the time we booked it until the last day. she was patient with all my request and said yes to everything. they were so easy and everything about customer service! finding a place on a Friday night in new brownfels for a event in summer was impossible, but the freedom was delivered. they were friendly and eating was great. they let us rent the dance floor, the band was excellent, we could decorate, they turned off the music so we could talk with our guest on our party. everything was perfect despite the ridiculous heat. we recommend them!
There is a space for indoor sitting, there are outdoors, there is a stage and live music at the weekends. a beautiful playing field for children too. good German food and good burgers. cold beer. desserts looked good, but I skipped.
