Best breakfast in New Bern! During our few-day stay in New Bern while waiting to haul out our boat for some maintenance, we kept returning to Baker’s Kitchen after trying other local spots. Cory was our server and offered attentive, excellent service. The French toast with their signature syrup was incredible, and the eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to all our friends!
The breakfast at Baker's Kitchen was incredible—their French toast paired with butter syrup ranks among the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was attentive, and both the restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m eager to return.
Baker's Kitchen is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch in downtown New Bern, with the added convenience of free street parking. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. While the coffee was average and the decaf a bit too acidic for my taste, the overall experience was enjoyable. The menu isn’t very large but offers some creative options. Be prepared for a wait, as this place tends to be busy.
Without a doubt, the best breakfast you can find anywhere. Fantastic food, generous portion sizes, and truly remarkable service. I dined here twice this weekend with friends and was thoroughly impressed by the care provided by both Amy and Tina. Despite the restaurant being very busy, they made us feel like we were the only customers there. The prices were also very reasonable.
Fantastic spot for breakfast if you find yourself in downtown New Bern. It's quite popular, so be ready for a wait unless you arrive right at opening time. I had the chicken and waffles, which was a generous portion and well-seasoned. My friend tried the FarmersWife with the grilled cinnamon roll—delicious! Definitely give it a shot if you want something unique. Our other friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, which is easily shareable.
