A Taste Of Philadelphia - New Bern

For all other reviewers who rated them less for Bland or dry cheeses: the trick to get your cheese steak wet and tasty here is to ask for additional cheese. All three are the same for me. If you don't like cheese, try Mayo. Everything made with bread can be dry if you do not prepare it properly. You need to know how you like it. Don't blame the cook if you just order it, it'll just come! Ice or ice are fantastic. You can get a drink that's a mix of both. Now that Andy's was bought, this is the place for cheese steaks and shakes! Now they only need oranges and they have the TRIFECTA!

Our first experience here was good. The portion was generous and was quite delicious. I'd like more cheese on my Philly cheese steak sandwich, but that's just my personal preference. I'll ask for extra next time. The fried raviolis were great, they haven't had them for years. My only real complaint is that it was powerfully warm there. Almost unbearable. Maybe the AC was broken?

By far the best place in the city for a milkshake and frits at a very reasonable price! Fox had me back a Wit Wiz for a while and his now a favorite of me! We try to visit at least once a week, but weakened due to health. We enjoy keeping an ice cream on date nights and dinner dessert with the children. Do not forget the wonderful staff!!! Always helpful with new menu items, dessert options and they let my children taste all the ice options until they find the perfect fit. Fox and Joe always go out to socialize with my husband and joke with the children. [Great PR guys] Two thumbs up! We love our ATOP family!

My family LOVED a taste of Philadelphia! The Italian ice cream was great. We received super customer service! They explained to us what everything was and even let us taste flavors before buying! This is our new favorite place to go!

Such a family friendly place. The owners (and anyone who has been working) take the time to talk with my very chatty daughter every time we come in, and make her feel special by greeting her by name when she walks in! She asks me multiple times a week to go visit her “friends” who work at the Italian ice store. Every thing we have tried has been delicious so far- lots of things to choose from! I love that the selection of Italian ice and ice cream changes.
