This place has been an all time favorite. The quality and the taste of the food stays consistent throughout the years. Ive been going to this place a lot for nearly 10 years now. Love their special teriyaki sauce, its house-made and you cant get it anywhere else. This place is always packed during lunch time. Best to book before coming. View all feedback.

Great neighbourhood gem! Food is always fresh and perfect for a family gathering. Sashimi is fantastic and try the pork maki!! Service is always excellent.

read moreKyushu is a long-standing favorite among Japanese food lovers in Sydney, offering a basic menu executed well with consistent quality and taste throughout the years. Although slightly pricier than other Japanese restaurants, the food is always fresh and not overloaded with salt or mayo. Popular dishes include the pork maki and teriyaki beef. Despite being loud, the restaurant is always packed, so booking ahead is recommended. Regular customers appreciate the special teriyaki sauce and the value for money lunchtime bentos. With a focus on traditional Japanese dishes made with quality ingredients, Kyushu has remained consistent over the years, providing a comforting and familiar dining experience. The menu may not be extensive, but the food is tasty and reasonably priced, making it a great option for special occasions or casual dining. Be sure to try the fried oysters and the Chicken Teriyaki, considered one of the best in Sydney. Overall, Kyushu is a great choice for those seeking authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine.
