I've been going to various quick check over many years. Jason in netcong is by far the best employee I have EVER come across that dude is going to have a great future with his attitude. The mgr John was good also best qc in the area
The staff at this restaurant are usually friendly, but my encounter with the older woman who prepares the sandwiches was disappointing. She made an error with my order, and when I asked for a redo, she refused to assist me. Her attitude was quite dismissive and uninviting. I won't be coming back to this restaurant. I feel like I wasted both my time and money.
This QuickCheck location has been around for quite some time. My family first came to Stanhope in 1978, and it was already established back then! At that time, my mom didn’t drive, so when I was about 12 or 13, she would sometimes give me a $20 bill to get two cartons—yes, two cartons, not just packs—of cigarettes for the week. If I remember correctly, each carton cost around $5.00, and I could keep the leftover change for a snack. Back then, I could get two slices of pizza and a fountain drink at Carmine's for just a dollar. I always had to bring the leftover change home to my mom. My parents also bought all our deli meats and salads from QuickCheck because everything at ShopRite tasted like fish since they shared the same cooler! Those were the good old days...
