The food was quite good, though it can get a bit expensive depending on your choices. I found it wasn't as spicy as I expected, especially when compared to Jamaican options in NYC. It seems this is a common theme for Jamaican cuisine in the Budd Lake area, haha. If you want quicker service, I recommend calling ahead since they only offer takeout and do not have dine-in seating. The portions are generous, and the food is fresh, delicious, and authentic. Their take-out service is incredibly fast.
Delicious Food. We love the oxtails and the Jerk chicken. Found this place during covid and always do take out or door dash. Dining is open again. Beef patties are always good too.
I enjoyed the jerk pork, which was delicious and came in a generous portion. Since I’ll be moving to the area soon, I was pleased to find a Jamaican restaurant nearby and I look forward to visiting frequently. They also offer a good selection of Caribbean drinks.
?Authentic? is the perfect word for this location. Perfectly smoked jerk chicken/ribs, relaxing Jamaican atmosphere, and enormous portions of food for every visit! I highly recommend this establishment (call ahead before dining in, but don?t missout on this experience)! James is a delight!
