We had a good strong coffee, and a cold water each. We enjoyed this whilst taking-in the stunning views over the nearby village of Maro and onto the coast beyond. The drinks were very welcome, but I have to advise that I had to ask three times for our bill. I really struggle to understand why waiting-staff fail to produce bills promptly on request. After all, we have finished, and not going to spend more, as we want to get on our way. Once we leave there is also a table available for more customers! Mostly waiting-staff seem to avoid looking at you once you have finished, and get to the stage of paying-up, and I cannot understand why!

There were not many in the restaurant as it was January... read more We only stopped by for a drink after visiting the caves and climbing the hill behind the visitor centre. There were not many in the restaurant as it was January and the pandemic was still ongoing but, despite those factors, the service was poor. The big plus factor was the lovely view from the balcony out over the sea and towards Nerja.
