It also provides an extensive take out menu which we also use at least once per trip. The menu has a wide choice of fish, meat, pasta and pizzeria and all of it is very good and sensibly priced. The staff is excellent, service very good and you are always warmly welcomed. Highly recommended, away from the tourist traps.

It is a restaurant popular with the loc... read more Spending much of Autumn in Nerja, Jimenez was my go to local restaurant when I could not be bothered to cook for myself. It is a restaurant popular with the locals and always my choice for dinner when arriving late from Malaga airport. The chef 's special spaghetti is always good, with plenty of garlic. I don 't happen to like pizza but my american family, who visited this fall, rated the pizzas highly. All of the food is good and plentiful, with a wide choice of fish, meat or pasta. All is freshly cooked and service is friendly.
