This cute little sushi bar/restaurant was a delightful find for dinner. Chill music on the speakers, cherry blossoms bursting out of the corners, and funky wooden long tables. Prices were very reasonable and the flavors were great. Spicy akitishi tofu appy was soft and tasty, dynamite roll was a little fishy for my tasye, but chicken teriyaki roll was a nice surprise. Highly recommend!

The food was good but the price was stupidly expensive. $10 for ebi sumono when you expect to pay for a few dollars. They charge for tea? Most restaurants I go to don’t “usually” charge for tea. I would come here if they lowered the prices. Me and my partner are sashimi lovers. We ordered a sashimi box to share for dinner… very thin slices of sashimi. You would kinda expect a think piece. I’m not even from Nelson. I’m from Vancouver.Vegetarian options: Good selection

Unfortunately with my two times eating here the customer service wasn't the best. The first time I went during a slow time and there were only two other tables with people, but my server brought a menu but didn't take my drink order. I was very thirsty. Finally after a while I went over to the server standing behind the counter and asked for a glass of water. She seemed annoyed and said yes she'd bring it. It took 15 mins for me to get water! Even after a friend showed up and she took our food order... the water didn't come until our food did. As for the second time I ate there, we weren't ready to order when the waiter asked us and asked him to come back in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later he finally came to get our food order. The sushi tasted good but I won't be going back due to the inattentive service.

A lovely restaurant with beautiful decor, service was great, and sushi was amazing and affordable.
