Everything was del... read more I took my Mum here for lunch during a family visit to the Kootenays. We had several delicious dishes, fresh Oso Negro coffee, and bubble tea. Everything was delicious! Our server was pleasant and attentive, happily chatting with me while our food was being prepared. We learned that some of the art on the walls are photographs taken by the previous owner, and that the gorgeous ceramic mugs our coffee came in were made by her as well. Busaba is a lovely local spot, and I look forward to visiting again the next time I come to Nelson.

The food was fantastic, and t... read more My wife and I had a thai lunch at Busaba on July 6, 2017, and absolutely loved it. We had a red curry chicken dish, and pork dish. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We would strongly recommend this restaurant, and we will return when we are back in Nelson, BC.

We ord... read more It has been a while since we stopped in and the best surprise was that Busaba seems to have improved since our last visit which was good but not stellar. We ordered the lunch combos of Keow Waan with chicken and the Bangkok Panang with chicken. The green curry influence was perfect in the Keow Waan and the Bangkok Panang was phenomenal. I even added a few peppers and it raised the heat to a wonderful level. Also ordered the Thai Iced Tea made from black tea and it added a great taste to the already delicious lunch. A definite come back soon for us.

One of the main things I appreciate is that it stays true to authentic Thai cuisine and doesn't try to cater to a Western palate like other establishments. The flavors are truly mouthwatering and the dishes are unmistakably Thai.
