The attentive staff frequently checked in on all the guests to ensure that everyone was enjoying their meal. I appreciate good service, but I tried to convey that I wanted some space until I finished eating. I hope you understand what I mean. What User doesn't like about Valenzuela's Cafe:
Nice place, service was great. However, food was very bland. My husband and I each had a tostada, the beans had no flavor, as the taco. The chili relano was very tasty, and I would differently order again. View all feedback.

When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely return. Highly recommended! They did offer me a piece of cake for dessert, but I was too full. They seem quite proud of their cakes there.
What a fantastic little family restaurant! We've always wanted to try it whenever we passed by, but it was always closed on the days we came. Fernando and his mother, Jesse, who is 82, are incredibly gracious and serve up delicious food. The chili relleno was outstanding. I had a chili verde tostada, which was a first for Fernando, as he usually serves a guacamole tostada. I prefer my tostadas on the wet side, and this one did not disappoint. They close from mid-June to December because, as Fernando says, the summers are just too hot. We can't wait to return in early April so we can visit again!
Excellent food. Great portions. Service is outstanding. Thanks for making our Anniversary dinner very memorable.
This was some of the best Mexican food we have ever had! We highly recommend it. The service was also excellent!
We spent two weeks in North Shore RV Resort in Needles, California in late March 2018. We enjoyed eating at several of the local restaurants, among which, VALENZUELA’S CAFE! Our midweek late lunch visit found us the only customers. VALENZUELA’S CAFE is located in a residential area of Needles and according to our very gracious waiter was his family’s home and where he grew up. The cafe is his Mother’s and he and his siblings take turns helping her run the cafe. We parked along the street in front of the cafe. The building is old but kept clean and tidy. We sat in a booth but noted tables and a more private dining area. We were served chips and salsa. For me, the chips were too salty and the salsa too hot. My other three family members were pleased with the hot and saltiness. Cindy and I ordered toasted burritos with the usual sides, rice, beans. Large servings had us taking home our leftovers! The food was well presented and tasted very good. The food prices and quality were very good. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at VALENZUELA’S CAFE and will definitely go eat there again when we next visit Needles, California.
