Nestled along the iconic Route 66 in Needles, California, this charming diner-style restaurant offers a nostalgic atmosphere and a diverse menu. Guests have praised the generous portions and delectable dishes, particularly the standout biscuits and classic comfort foods like meatloaf and chicken fried steak. While some diners experienced inconsistent service, many highlighted the friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant's quaint gift shop adds to its unique character, attracting travelers in need of a hearty meal or a sweet treat. Whether stopping for breakfast or dinner, this eatery promises a satisfying respite for road-weary adventurers.

With my friend stopped on the way to flagstaff! our waitress zandra was funny and helpful! we ordered the chicken steak and corned bark hash! it was all delicious! the coffee was especially good! thank you!

We stopped on our way back from Oatman and all I can say is that the food was amazing. As a person that loves food I recommend the pot roast, as it was a 10/10 for me. The hubby had that steak and it was a 10/10 as well. Definitely looking forward to stopping by again.

Wonderful little seat yourself place with that rustic feel, old school decorations like horns and lightly rusted metal signs and such. Waitstaff was very friendly, and enthusiastic when asked to help someone choose what they should get. Food pictured is the pot roast skillet, which was excellent. Meat was a touch salty, but when taken with bites of mashed potatoes was reasonably balanced. Someone else got gravy and biscuits, and while I am not a fan of sawmill gravy I was informed it was very well made and tasty. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet with pancake syrup. Probably some of the best ones I've tasted. Overall, I highly recommend you patronize the Wagon Wheel.

Amazing home-style feel meal! Our appetizer came iut the same time as our food. It would good but I wouldn't have gotten it if I'd known it would be the same time. But that's the only negative I have from here. The food was all really good! There were 4in our group everyone loved their food. It was busy as it was lunch time I think our server had half the restaurant but youcouldn't tell cause she killed it! If you're in the area, you have got to eat here!

Waited for waitress entirely to long, made eye contact with several as I set at the bar. Order 12 Oz steak medium well it was rare on the thick piece of steak and well on the then side. I was told they hand cut there steaks there. Definitely wasn't cutright. Potatoes mashed with gravy was average, grean beans taste like frozen little flavor. Biscuit and butter good, sweattea perfect. Food presentation looked great. Waitress never came back and refilled my drink, or even asked how my food was. When I asked for my check then she asked how was everything and told me maybe next time I come it will be better. Sorry $27dollars there will be no next time. And if there ever is I will order something simple like a Hamburger and fries. The serverswhere to busy talking about there zero calories water addictive and not paying attention to there customers. 3 stars , historiclittle stop, not a must stop place. Room for a few 18 wheelers , and truck parking at truckstop across the street.
