I ordered some gluten-free, allergy-friendly cupcakes from this restaurant for my wife's birthday. They were possibly the best cupcakes I've ever had, whether gluten-free or not. They were amazing - moist, flavorful, and there were so many great flavors to choose from. The gluten-free cake pops were also a big hit.
I generally do not enjoy cupcakes. They are usually dry, the frosting is too sweet, and the cake batter tastes like a generic 1990s 5th birthday party. While this nostalgic flavor is not my preference, Treat cupcakes are a different story. I have to say that these cupcakes are moist, flavorful, and the toppings are not your average store-bought frosting. They remind me of my grandmother's homemade whipped cream, which was smooth and decadent. The variety of flavors available caters to everyone's preferences, and there are also plenty of options for those with allergies. I would gladly pay $6 for a cupcake at this restaurant any day of the week, and I recommend that you do too!
To say that I am a huge and loyal fan of Treat cupcakes would be an understatement. We discovered Treat at the beginning of the pandemic, and have been regular customers ever since. The pupcakes for my dogs were the initial reason we went in, but as soon as I tried the salted caramel cupcake I was sold. The lemon and Rolo cupcakes are also amazing. The prices are worth it. The frosting is perfection, not too sweet with a smooth texture. The staff is always lovely, and they know my dogs by name.
Generally, I don 't like cupcakes... They 're typically dry, frosting is overly sweet, and the generic cake batter gives it that 1990 's 5th birthday party taste. While nostalgic, it 's not my cup of tea. However, taking a bite of a Treat cupcake is something different. I 'll use my least favorite word and say; the cupcakes are moist , flavorful, and the toppings are not your Shaw 's brand frosting. It often reminds of my grandmothers hand churned whipped cream that was smooth and rich. The variety of options gives anyone a chance to find their favorite flavor and while this doesn 't affect me, the choices for those with allergies is quiet vast as well. I 'll happily pay $6 a cupcake at this establishment any day of the week. I suggest you should too!
