Was T C at Bertucci's Italian a mag?
Been coming to this location for 20 years for sauce and dough to make pizzas at home. When we do dine in the kids love the spaghetti meatballs. The managers have his always been pleasant and attentive. View all feedback.
What alan dislikes about Bertucci's Italian:
The waitress was very nice but had 5 tables with no help. The kitchen had 6-8 people standing around while the lone waitress was running around. The food was only warm, had the kitchen staff ran the food when ready it would have been served hot. I find this at all Bertucci’s sadly to say. View all feedback.

Why does the cashier deal with placing dry pizza topping basil) without using gloves or utensils?

There have been some recent changes at this restaurant. The management hosted a special event for Yelp Elite Squad members and really went all out.
I had a local show and had a few hours to go out and grab some dinner with my boyfriend. We decided to go to Bertucci's since it was located near where we were.

Customer service was HORRIBLE ! The guy at the front end with medium brown hair I believe his name is JOE was absolutely RUDE and appeared to be under the influence. When complained to the manager he didn’t even let me finish my complaint he literally said “ yeah I know talk to the guy in the front” which was JOE. Thankfully another customer saw what was happening and said something in my favor. Shortly after that as I’m leaving I see the guy JOE out on the side smoking. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I think the staff is a reflection of the manager which is careless for customer service and the way he handles customers complaints. If you want to have a nice night out DO NOT GO HERE FOR THAT!
This bertuccis is filled floor to ceiling with black mold. Food is left out for hours, then re-refrigerated and re-served for days on repeat. The cooks do not know or respect food safety protocols, and the management is complicit in allowing this shoddy cooking. Do not eat here, mass report this restaurant to the needham department of health. They are somehow still operating despite my report that was received and “acted on” by needham DOH.
Jackie was our server and she was super nice, patient, and attentive. My grandfather did not realize his food would be spicy and they offered to make him a new plate. My father asked for a modification to his plate and they were very willing to accommodate. The food was great overall and the staff was very nice. Our favorite was the Baked Chicken Gratinati. They gave us a bag of rolls and olive oil with our leftovers which was appreciated.
Over the past decade, I thought Bertucci's in Needham was going down hill. Tonight was an even worse experience. The waitress Jackie was attentive and friendly. But the food was awful. Salad was soaked in dressing. One entree was burnt. The other entree was cold, and took an extra half hour to heat up. They also changed recipes and lasagna tasted worse than a frozen dinner, yet cost over $20. Waitress told me she can't tell me, when I asked if it had been frozen.

Server was extremely helpful and attentive. He was very diligent and had a very pleasant disposition.
New menu with lots of great options making it hard to decide. Had a tasty bacon flatbread

Food was mediocre. Service was pleasant. Hot rolls are nice. Grilled salmon was very oily. Chicken piccata was bland, despite how promising it could have been. I have to say I was not totally surprised. I am often underwhelmed by the food at Bertuccis, and yet I give it a try again because it's easy to go to, and the menu has promising options. I probably won't go back anymore. Too many other restaurants in the area.
Made a reservation but never got to sit down. Waited at the host stand for about 5 minutes. The gentleman behind us finally approached a man at the end of the kitchen counter who looked like a manager(and was watching us the entire time). The customer was first ignored and then told someone would be with us. I waited two more minutes but as the door area got more and more crowded and none showed up, we left. I understand they may have been short staffed or even have been busy doing something else, but to be ignored by someone who very possibly could have been the kitchen manager is absurd. A 20 second walk and a quick, “sorry for the delay. We will be with you in a few minutes” I would have been more than happy to wait .

Had lunch in Needham Bertucci. We both had the Tuscan vegetable pack. Incredible!!!
The Bertucci must be hard with the staff. We went the other night there (and it was a holiday night in Needham) and it took 45 minutes until the waiter came to our table. I think they had two waiters for the whole dining room. Our poor waiter had literally walked around and tried to please everyone. Once we got our order, it didn't take so long until the food arrived, maybe 20 minutes. I had aubergines Parmesan and it was delicious. The spaghetti with meat sauce was top notch, like the salad someone else ordered. The salmon was something burned on an order, but we will not keep it against the place as they seemed to deal with a difficult situation. We will definitely come back.
This place was my grandmother's favorite place to go. Unfortunately, she was awake today and we ate here. We were greeted with not only amazing food (and trust me, I know with a culinary degree), but also great service from the nicest and warmest employees. I highly recommend it!!
