The restaurant offers a beautiful location overlooking the river, but some guests found issues with visibility due to window positioning. The service received mixed reviews, with some guests feeling pressured to order specific items. The menu lacks vegan options, causing confusion for those with dietary restrictions. However, the food is praised for its taste, portion size, and consistency. The service is generally good, with the owner ensuring customer satisfaction. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for a pleasant dining experience, especially for celebrations or work-related functions.

What Garth Hirthe dislikes about Jojo's Cafe:
Went for lunch today with the Wife and Father Inlaw. Location I thought was going to be good, only problem is the join in the windows overlooking the river is at eye level for the average Jo Jo (had to chuck that in, sorry) so unless u r 3 feet tall or 7 feet tall you cant see squat. Service was ok - although waiter didnt seem happy when we didnt order wine or garlic bread. Wine only by the bottle - saw Brown B... View all feedback.
Fantastic service and great food. The food has been consistently good. They view is fantastic too. The portions are massive & the cheesecake dessert is amazing!
I was taken to Jojos for a surprise dinner & when we arrived I expected the location the be the best part, but I have to say- the food was really good! What
Excellent night out for a party of 6. Great food (with substantial enough portions) and friendly staff.
My manager took me out for a meal with a few visitors, and we all had a great time enjoying the food. I ordered the oysters and the lamb, which were the daily specials, and both were fantastic. I would have rated the experience higher, but the service was just average.
Came here as a group 5 for a mid week birthday lunch. Beautiful location on the river which is why we chose to come here, but the overall feeling of Jojo's when you walk in and are seated is that it has seen better days is a little outdated. Service was polite, menu was a little underwhelming and predictable, between us we ordered the bresaola salad (quite bland), fritto misto (tasty) garlic bread as starters, followed by grilled lamb cutlets, spaghetti allo scoglio parpadelle (both pasta dishes were seriously lacking salt depth of flavour unfortunately). We didn't have dessert but for 2 shared entrees, 5 mains 4 drinks the bill came to $300 which was a little steep in my opinion. Nice for a special occasion because of the location, but otherwise I won't be returning in a rush.
