What Vara Pappas doesn't like about Kathmandu:
Only the chicken momos and masala chai were half decent. We ordered chicken soup and literally received watered-down butter chicken and were drinking the curry sauce as one would a bowl of soup. We also ordered lamb thukpa (the authentic dish is hand-pulled noodles) and were served spaghetti in watered-down korma (or other type of) curry. It's an utter disgrace to Nepali cuisine. This is perhaps my favorite restaurant on the planet. The food is amazing. The vibe is calm and comforting. The owners are the kindest, warmest people. I wish this family all the success in the world.
Our favourite Nepalese restaurant in the area! The buffet is so elite and has great veggie options
So amazing! We came here once before, and since we were in Colorado, we drove 1.5 hours to come back. Totally worth it!
