What Val Med likes about Northeast Tea House In M:
Worth a visit, especially for the aesthetics. They run the shop similarly to some traditional shops in Japan and Korea where you are meant to enjoy the tea and conversation, which is why the no laptop policy is not too surprising. The pre-packaged mochi and milled matcha teas are okay. This is a place you go to for the atmosphere more than anything. View all feedback. My favorite tea shop in minneapolis and would be 5+ stars if the hours were ever correct. 3 separate times now I’ve driven down to MPLS just for northeast tea house for them not to be open even though it was after 10am. Yesterday I even lugged my toddler out bc I was craving NE tea house just to find them closed again) at 10:50 : Amazing tea, service and atmosphere when they’re open?! View all feedback.
