**Older Review:**
My wife and I were looking to try a new restaurant for breakfast and ended up at Café Pepita in National City. I ordered ham and eggs to-go, while my wife opted for huevos a la mexicana, along with a couple of coffees. The service was excellent—quick and friendly—and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal. The takeout packaging was of good quality, which meant it didn’t end up in my lap while eating in the car. I can't believe we have passed by this fantastic restaurant so many times without noticing it. We’ll definitely come back when we’re nearby!.

Nastiest place ever came in one day fro breakfast horrible smell as I enter the place walked over to a table but could not even sit because of the nasty and horrible smell walked out almost throwing up. NEVER AGAIN smell was like old nasty cooking oil also old grease smell eewwgh!! View all feedback.
The owner of this restaurant is always friendly, he goes about and beyond when it come to greeting you, He serves delicious traditional menudo on weekends, is one of the best menudos. also if you love coffee and concha, the Mexican sweet bread and a cup of coffee, just visit him he opens at 8am, sittings are available outside .
My mom has been going there for years. The food is delicious and the owner is very nice and friendly. Clean clean clean little restaurant. Love it!

The owner of this restaurant is always friendly, he goes beyond and beyond when it comes to greeting them, he serves delicious traditional menudo at woken, is one of the best menus. even if they love coffee and concha, the Mexican sweet brot and a cup coffee, they simply visit him open at 8 o'clock, seats are available outside.
Amazing traditional meals served in a family loved environment. Clean and quaint, it's a regular weekend stop for my husband and I to enjoy his favorite mexican dish menudo .
