Crispy Fried Chicken - National City

This place is quite inconceivable, as it is in a strip-mall and its shield is hanging a vinyl. eating is very tasty and tasteful. everything is boiled to order, so it takes one for her to eat. but it is worth waiting because it is hot and ready to go. ketchup and hot sauce is quite the most important flavor. it is a kind of soul food that has its typical pages such as okra, mais on the cob and cole Slav etc. has its menus are on large tvs above the register that is beautiful and they are easy to read. the only thing that really needs improvement is her restroom and I will rely on it. It just doesn't have to use when you go there. again, eating is great and it is worth trying. we were twice and will return.

I visit the El Cajon Blvd location most, but since I live in South Bay, I went to location down here. The place is tucked in corner, you have to really look or you will miss it. Parking is could be tuff , there are other eatery's there. Place was clean, you could tell it's new. I ordered prawns, which were delicious, fries weren't cooked all the way and I didn't care for the Mac and cheese.I'll try something different next time, but I mainly go for prawns.

I got the crispy soy fried chicken wings and legs, half and half of mild and spicy. The mild ones were OK, the spicy ones were a lot better. The order took 20 minutes to be ready. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't include any sides, it's just the chicken. Make sure to ask for a good amount of napkins (for the grease) just because they only give you the ones that come in the forks bags, and they're not enough.

Had a 3 piece meal all white. The chicken was good, juicy, crispy and fresh but I did not enjoy the mashed potatoes at all, they were instant and not flavorful. Fried okra was okay. The okra inside was good but the breading didn't have much flavor. Another thing is that there were no napkins sitting anywhere in the restaurant. In order to get another napkin I actually had to stand there for a while, greasy fingered, and wait for the cashier to finish with a customer. Very Friendly service though.

Food was good. Prices are fair. Tenders are big. Lots of food with your order. Biscuit got hard fast kinda like if u microwave a biscuit it's warm at first but quickly gets hard. Cashier was friendly. I will return. Going to pass on the fried rice, I didn't like the sweet flavor.
