The old wooden floorboa... read more Owned by two lovely former Australian professional rugby players this pub is great. Not the kind of pub you think you'd find in the Sud. The old wooden floorboards come from a chateaux. The banquettes are old school leather. The bar itself feels like a...real bar, that is, isn't replete with plastic paddy paraphenalia usually found in Irish bars found outside Ireland. Also, the Guinness is actually good. They do the half pour and actually let it sit. Not a common occurrence in La France. They've also just finished renovating the whole back area which has hosted many bands and rugby matches on the big screen. All in all, a place well worth having a drink or two in, or even something to eat. They have a great charcuterie slate too.

He is such a great guy, he let me watching the la... read more I met Peter, the barman, in a restaurant and he invited me to taste the best Guinness of the city in O'brians. He is such a great guy, he let me watching the last game of the season for the F.C. Barcelona football team in...one of the screens, even if the final of the European Cup of rugby was at the same time. I had a blast chatting with him and gave us very good tips!
