Was Colette Dupre at O'Brians Pub a mag?
wonderfully friendly bar where you do not need to speak French. they have screens that show rugby and football so you can stay in touch with your team. staff and customers are all great people and if you enter when the narbonne rugby club plays, the atmosphere is electric. We came by and couldn't stay away. Good time. View all feedback.
What Thibault Allain dislikes about O'Brians Pub:
Won’t be back. Prob good for watching sports but not an Irish bar. Defo not recommended for Irish looking for ‘a home away from home’ So the positive: Lots of screens, came to watch a world cup game. Good spot for sort it seems. Nice...enough outdoor seating area. Negatives: Nothing Irish bar the name about this bar. Staff didn’t speak English, fair enough, it’s France, but as someone who has run an Irish bar abroad... View all feedback.

A large Irish pub, o'brians is the real thing for the south of France.........uper guinness and kilkenny with 5 big screens for the sport including a massive projection screen and a VIP/salle smoking cigars to discover in the back... the cocktail bar/piste de danse also starts....
Owned by two charming former professional Australian rugby players, this ad is awesome. Not the kind of pub we think we're in the south. The old parquet floors come from a castle. the benches are in old school leather. the bar itself resembles a real bar, that is to say that it is not filled with plastic paddy accessories that are usually found in the "irish" bars found outside the Irish. Besides, the guineness is really good. They make half the casting and let it rest. It's not common in france. They also just finished renovating the entire rear area that hosted many rugby groups and games on large screen. overall, a place worth taking a drink or two, or even something to eat. They also have an excellent slate of charcuterie.
A boozer handy for the Stade where the Rugby Unuion World Cup match was being played. England v the Argentine. Not a soul in the place one hour before kick-off. Fine glasses of Grimbergen and a half decent glass of Guiness. Friendly landlord who...introduced us to a ticket tout who had tickets for the game at of face value ! The darkest toilets I have ever visited. Needed the torch on my phone to find my zipper....

Staff didn’t speak English, fair enough, it’s France, but as someone who has run an Irish bar abroad myself, this is not what I’d expect from an Irish bar.... Most of the sparse drink selection was French too. (They did have gutrot magners though)
