Top Joe's Townhouse - NARBERTH
Top Joe's Townhouse
Description
Nestled in a charming location, this restaurant offers a stylish ambiance and an inviting atmosphere. While some diners praised the quality of the food—highlighting delicious pizzas and pasta dishes as reminiscent of Italy—others noted inconsistencies, such as undercooked ingredients and slow service. Complaints about the attentiveness of staff and cleanliness were prevalent, alongside concerns about rushed dining experiences. However, many enjoyed friendly interactions and appreciated the accommodating service, particularly regarding dietary needs. Overall, while the food quality has potential, the service dynamics and cleanliness could significantly enhance the dining experience. Enthusiastic diners may still find joy in its offerings.

We visited here tonight, looked stylish but an underwhelming greeting on arrival. Once seated we had drinks and ordered our starters. These took approximately 10 mins and were delicious. We were told our table was needed in an hour, our mains then took 45 mins to arrive! 3 pizza and a pasta. . . .the pizza was served on a plate so went cold and soggy very very quickly. Would be better served on a wooden board. We could taste the quality of the ingredients but sadly this was lost to the wait and soggy bottoms! We felt rushed to leave and were never asked if we wanted more drinks, our plates weren't cleared before puds were served and the coffee was so hot it took the roof of our mouths off! I had asked for the coffee to be not too hot!.... Overall disappointment all round to a much awaited meal. Service: 1
Unfortunately we did not stay at the establishment as we visited the town following a funeral, but we did stop by this beauty and had a spot of lunch. The General aesthetic of the venue was beautiful. It had a nice chilled vibe and was decorated lovely throughout. The service was great and the food was very tasty. Our table had 2 pizza and 2 pasta dishes and the lot was polished off with no complaints. Location is great with a nice view of the town hall perfect for those who like to watch the world go bye and just around the corner from the car park. I'd highly recommend stopping off here for a bit to eat and would love to return for a chilled evening with a few drinks and maybe even stay now I know it has accommodation. The food and drink was fairly priced at just over £20 for a decent size pizza and a can of soda. Service: 5
