The meat was lovely and tender, the gravy was thick. Good selection of veg. Nothing was over cooked. We all the small adult portions, and they were huge, brought the leftovers home. Sadly we had no room for dessert, although they looked delicious. Great Value, lovely friendly quick service, a real fire, and we were allowed to bring our dog into the bar. I'll definitely be back when I'm passing again.

Next time I will be ordering the child’s size main, they are certainly more than enough Beautifully cooked meats, roast spuds, parsnip, cabbage, swede, sprouts, broccoli and mashed potato, with 2 huge Yorkshire puds and lashings of gravy, served on piping hot plates. Just perfect. We will be back.
