While Gilhooleys won't blow you away with anything spectacularly amazing, it will deliver good, honest pub food at a good price. Steak is always cooked well so I'm happy! I've been back a few times and it always delivers.

I ordered a chicken schnitzel. It was the best cooked schnitzel I have ever tasted, accompanied by sensational homemade chips and salad.

As our dinner plans kept being thwarted, we eventually ended up at this venue.It is a pub but had great food, wonderful choice of wines and good atmosphere.Ther... read more As our dinner plans kept being thwarted, we eventually ended up at this venue.It is a pub but had great food, wonderful choice of wines and good atmosphere.There was 6 of us arrived about 7.45 pm and we're seated quickly, by this stage had run out of a few things on menu but when we finally settled food was good.If all else fails this is a good place for dinner.

Both of the bartenders seemed uninterested in taking our order and were very rude to us and other customers. We had to reorder our food from our table since our initial order was not taken. The fish and chips we ordered turned out to be fish sticks with a thick, flavorless, and buttery tartar sauce. I definitely will not be returning to this establishment.

The air conditioning was not working, which was quite uncomfortable especially in the summer. The staff seemed uninterested in providing good customer service. The tables were dirty and sticky, and the overall atmosphere of the place was tacky. I felt embarrassed for bringing a friend there. I will not be returning.
