Great ribs, the best any of us had ever tasted. Kid’s meals were great too, and the peanut butter pie was to die for! We were recommended to come here by friends and we were not disappointed at all!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The ribs are fantastic, the coleslaw is fresh and delicious, and the baked potato is moist with high-quality toppings. The pulled pork sandwich is incredible, and the garlic toast is simply AMAZING. The potato salad is good but has a strong mustard flavor, and while the baked beans are a bit too sweet for my liking, they are still fresh. They really excel in attention to detail; you always receive all the toppings and dipping sauces that are supposed to come with your order!
Fabulous!!! Waitress Jami was awesome- give that lady a raise!!! Food was awesome and the amount you get you will not leave hungry. Don't forget to get the pie before you leave- also awesome. Peanut butter was our favorite but key lime was good too. Inside is decorated like most BBQ places and was nice and clean.
Second time we have ordered to go. Second time it came wrong missing items. Both times. My husband has an allergy so it's important to us that it come the way we order. We will not order again. He's currently cooking dinner and remaining items isn't even enough to feed the kids. Happy Mother's Day to me.
Once we had our drinks, we returned to the entrance where there was a bench to sit on as we waited. Our server, Jeff, was quick to bring us menus. Noticing we already had drinks, he offered to bring us water with lemon wedges. We decided to share a medium order of onion rings among three of us, although we probably could have and should have gotten a small; there was plenty left over afterward. The largest size is called the "motherload," which would be best for a very hungry group. Since this restaurant is famous for its ribs, we all indulged. The two ladies I was with both ordered a half rack of ribs. The meal came with sides: coleslaw, beans, and Texas toast, plus a choice of an additional side like a baked potato or corn on the cob. I opted for Combo #6, which included ribs and sausage; I went for the spicy option, which was delightful. The ribs were incredibly tender and literally finger-licking good. They were so well-cooked that the meat fell right off the bone, and no sauce was necessary since they were already lightly glazed with a sweet sauce. However, there are three sauces on the table—Tangy, Sweet Spicy, and Sweet—that you can try. I tasted all three and particularly enjoyed the Sweet Spicy one. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for finger-licking, fall-off-the-bone, tender ribs. Make sure to come with a big appetite and bring your friends; you will not be disappointed!
