Ikkai - Naperville

Chef is so excited to create new recipes. he literally has a stunning vegan sushi roll that my carnivorous sushi-loving sister loved on the fly and I was the first to try it!

Highly recommended for vegans! we had some of the most delicious vegan sushi last night thanks to james (the new owner!) when they are in the naperville area, they can come to this sushi bar for a roll or two simply let them know that they are vegan, he will come to some amazing options (the truffle sauce is a must!) great small, family business! can not wait to go back!

Such loveliness! Truly remarkable. Stunningly fresh and inventive and with no pretense which is saying something in the current world of sushi preparation. Was it inexpensive? No. But it's absolutely worth every penny. One other thing that I would like to add is the my commentary regarding the service. So gracious and kind and truly made my wife and I feel like we were guests at the restaurant. Regrettably a lost art and most restaurants these days. We can't wait to come back.

The food was amazing. The only thing that was an issue was the wait time for the food. There were a lot of to go orders it seemed like were priorities. The crab gyozas were an amazing starter. A little spicy but wasn't bad for us. The naperville, hanger, and mango tango all were very good as well.Food: 5/5

Very fresh and delicious. Felt like they had an incredible attention to detail for each dish and the plating was ?. For only having a few servers the service was great and quick. Cozy on the inside and we felt lucky to get a walk in table, definitely recommend making a reservation before hand.Food: 5/5
