Walter's Deli - NANTUCKET

Well, this place was perfect. As someone who only wanted to get some really good lobster roles into the house, but without a little more that was the place to get it. Fast, friendly and especially absolutely delicious. Caprese Salat, which we also got, was similar to a perfect lunchtime.

Stop right here for the best sammiches! Reuben wins, hands down! Pulled Pork sub with the sweet Cole slaw right in the roll is a great runner-up. Plenty of other standards to choose from with the same quality. Quick too. Snag one or two right as you get to town or just before you get back on the ferry!! Do it. You NOT be saddened by these meatsy edible trophies!!

We bought food for the boat, a chicken pesto sandwich. Was really good, an overpriced garden salad, but hey it was bigger than some and so fresh and had a green salad instead of iceberg, with which I was pleasantly satisfied. And some delicious tabuli. 2 drinks $45 not bad for lunch for 2

Got the lobster roll. It was seriously one of, if not the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had. Fresh properly cooked lobster. Great toasted bread. Really good price. Owner and cool seemed Like good guys as well. Glad I was able to grab a lobster roll here.

Terrifyingly delicious (and expensive) lobster rolls right by the port. Legend is that Captain Ahab choked on a huge chunk of lobster here 400 years ago. Haunted!
