We started our meal by sharing some oysters, and for my main course, I ordered the seafood macaroni, which was outstanding. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed a fantastic view from the back veranda overlooking the harbor. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Charlie Noble:
the food was average. I ordered a Caesar salad that came with roasted brotrunden. the brot had a Mold on it. I called the waitress, and she took the spicy brot away and then brought me new brot. there was no excuse from any manager. I was reluctant to eat the rest of my lunch because it was obviously not fresh this day. very expensive and hot because the air conditioning is inside, but only before the restaurant. the... Another review where I wish I could do 4.5 stars. The Beet was good. We would return, but have a couple of wishes. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, which were good overall, but would have been better with more flakiness and a bit less central mush.I had the Korean BBQ quesadilla which was the best of what we ordered. It was fantastic and the scallion pancake as “tortilla” was superb. Loved the pork. The menu indicated the side of slaw would have pineapple in it, but I didn’t detect it. And I could have done with less BBQ sauce (too much on the top). But overall I loved the dish.My wife got the chicken burger and it was tasty. While you might appreciate a good amount of meat, the burger was really too thick, especially in comparison to a brioche bun that got soggy way too quickly. Her sweet potato fries were excellent, perfectly crispy.Service was okay. It was busy, but could have been better. The drink (water) service was great, always coming around to refill which is good for me as I drink a lot. But we waited a bit to get the check. Not a huge deal.Overall, very good.
Cute little spot. The dinner menu is ok. Great place for vegetarians and pescatarian. Couple options for meat lovers like me. The Felinos fry rice was great. I had really high hope for the Bao Buns and the Korean Quesadilla, and i left disappointed. The Coctails were amazing !!!Great lunch options. Personal opinion that lunch is better than the dinner.Definitely will stop by for that spicy margarita.Vegetarian options: PlentyKid-friendliness: Depends on how picky your kids are.Parking: Limited street parking sports. Also summer time you have 2h. Parking Only before you got blessed with $50 ticket.
Our waitress was the best. We were killing time and stop here for a drink. She had wonderful recommendations and made sure we got our food before we had to make our ferry. The caprihaina drink was amazing. Oysters were FANTASTIC. The beignets weren't so good though. Wish we tried more items though. We will certainly be back.Food: 5/5
Wonderful eclectic food!! We had an amazing meal at The Beet last week, starring the vegetarian dumplings, which were incredible. Everything else we ordered, from the Rose Prosecco in fancy champagne glasses to the roasted brussel sprouts with miso and the pulled pork quesidillas in scallion pancakes, was incredible. There were lots of vegetarian options, but plenty of meat as well. We had trouble choosing among the offerings, and hope to go back to try those we missed but the vegetarian dumplings will always be part of our order!
This is one of my favorite food spots on the island. Here is why you will love it too:1. The food is delicious. Everything I have ordered here has been top quality and flavorful. It’s SO good.2. The restaurant is easily accessible and right in historic downtown.3. They offer delivery and you can also pick up. Either way I have done takeout our food has been easy to get and fantastic.4. Friendly staff! If you are thinking of eating here give it a try! You will pay a little more but it’s worth it.Highly recommend.
