Contribute FeedbackOran Mor is a hidden gem on Nantucket, with an antique charm and warm atmosphere. The menu offers a good combination of traditional and innovative dishes, expertly prepared. While some guests found the flavors slightly lacking and prices high, others praised the attentive service and delicious food options. From kale Caesar salad to lobster pasta, visitors raved about the fantastic meals and exceptional service. Despite some mixed reviews, the overall consensus is that Oran Mor is a must-visit dining destination on the island, especially if looking for a memorable dining experience.
We had an amazing time at this restaurant during a friend's bachelorette party. We were seated in their private area on the top floor and the service was fantastic. We had pre-ordered appetizers and our food came out quickly. We all agreed that the kale Caesar salad was the best we had ever tasted. I personally loved the fennel pasta, even though I was too full from the appetizers to finish it. The peppers in the dish were a new experience for me and added a burst of flavor. The rooftop spritz, an aperol spritz, was exactly what I needed on a warm summer day. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
We had a fantastic dining experience overall. Our waitress Faith was exceptionally kind, friendly, warm, and welcoming. We tried the honey roasted beet special and the raclette special with fingerling potatoes and broccolini, both of which were delicious. The kale Caesar salad and truffle bucatini were also outstanding. We enjoyed some great Sancerre wine, and the noise level and ambiance were just right. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly inside, so I recommend bringing a sweater, although it wasn't unbearable.
We had an incredible dining experience at Oran Mor. Every bite and sip were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back.
Amazing food! Really loved the place, extremely flavorful food that is still New England traditional fare!!! Highly recommend!
This restaurant in a historical house was a very pleasant experience. Service was excellent, polite and prompt. The food stood out on every dish. Summer flavors are captured completely in the peas and wildflower salad. I also had the Moroccan fish tagine. It was perfectly seasoned, the fish extremely tender. Well worth the trip to town for this elegant and tasteful restaurant.
