This place is your good ol' burgers, fries and milkshakes. I had a classic cheeseburger with all of the fixins. I asked for the wasabi mayo to dip my fries in and it was excellent. Lola's is a great stop for a casual Meal, but it could improve in getting upgraded pickles and the burger was super thick, but it did not fit the bun. I would have gone wild over this place, but my burger kept falling apart View all feedback.
What Katie A doesn't like about Lola 41 Restaurant LLC:
A long time Lola Burger fan, my dinner last week will be my last visit. There was a lot wrong with our experience and that was reflected with a $0 tip. 1. the server was immediately rude to us when we walked in and throughout the whole meal. We had to get up and refill our water multiple times. The restaurant was only at 50% capacity 2. the food was incredibly mediocre in comparison to what I 've had over the last fe... Here's the whole issue my group had with Lola it was the server who gave us copious amounts of attitude while we were trying to abide by the social distancing rules but continued to try to move us around the COMPLETELY EMPTY outdoor space. We had to confront her multiple times just to keep the tables we were initially promised so we were in close proximity to each other so we could continue to talk. We were a party of 7 (1 more than the 6 limit) and were given a 6 top and a 4 top, which we were told we could split up however we wanted to by the hostess. But, when the server came out we were told we had to relocate to the 6 top and a 2 top which was way out of talking distance. We attempted to explain but were greeted with excessive amounts of attitude and rudeness before she eventually left without forcing a change. Once we got beyond that issue, I have zero complaints. The price of the burger, the quality of the food, and the location are all very average in my opinion (coming from Boston expectations). Their menu appears to nickel and dime with the add ons and the fries were neither bad nor memorable. I would say overall the experience was average from a food perspective but the proverbial B**ch slap we got from the server threw us over the edge in an extremely negative way. Maybe that made me more critical of the food and overall experience, but that's what I remember of our visit. At the end of the day, we won't be back because of this experience, which is a total shame because the food was pretty damn good and the price wasn't ridiculous given the location. I hope they are able to be more amenable to their guests in the future.
Standout all time great burger. We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and ate amazing burgers and fries. Initially we sat at the picnic tables but once we saw you couldn't enjoy a drink at we moved inside. We all ordered the double stack burger and spicy secret sauce fries. The double burger was great. Gigantic maybe too big but so good. The spicy secret sauce fries really had a kick. If I did it again I'd get the sauce on the side because the plain fries were really good too. Crispy and perfectly salted.
Okay listen, I'm not trying to come to Lola burger but this has got to stop. I want to love Lola BUT... The service is SO slow, when I say slow I mean sloth level. The burgers came out cold and easily took an hour plus to get to the table. I get that sometimes things take a while but at least drown us in booze so we can get wasted and forget about the noises our stomachs are making. Instead, we have to chase down the server for a second drink while our mouths start to become a desert that hasn't gotten water in years. The best part is that they NEVER asked how we wanted our burgers cooked, they just chucked them on the table like a southern crab feed with cold food. To top it all off the outdoor heaters didn't work. Will I be going back? Probably and I'll have the same experience and still complain about it. PS. when they say they will comp your drinks for wasting your time it's a lie, don't believe them.
I have always loved Lola but when I got a burger over salad....well I was unimpressed. It was small, no one asked what temp on the burger and it was 24.00. Ouch. Sorry. I will return to Lola 41 and Palm Beach but not Lola Burger.
Went to Lola burger for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I was happy to see that they had a tasty sounding vegan option. I went with the Beyond Meat vegan burger-which specifically mentioned that it came with a vegan bun and cheese. It was beyond delicious! The shoestring fries were also great. There was a little mix up with ordering for my cousin, but they were great about taking it back and fixing it for her. They have a great outdoor area that was enclosed and heated since it is still chilly out. We will definitely be back!
