Hostess asked... read more Walked by Cru knowing it was one of the most popular restaurants in Nantucket. No reservations, but we saw many 2 tops on the water outside empty. Hostess asked us if we has a reservations, we did not, she looked to her manager and she gave the nod toseat us. Service was attentive and not overwhelming. We both had warm lobster rolls. They were good and fries were hot. Theinside was a lot more lively than the outside but we preferred the more laid back atmosphere of the outside. Photos are fromour table right on the water.

We had some oysters, the grilled artichoke and then lobster rolls, halibut and the steak. Everyone loved their food. The one drinkyou need to try is a Crucumber.
