Was Anthony at Crosswinds a mag?
It's busy all the time I go there, which can be good and bad. We ordered two breakfast for take out and they gave us the wrong meals, called several times but nobody answered. I couldn't go back at the time so the food got wasted, I'm willing to go back and see what else I can try. View all feedback.
What Jeanette Veum dislikes about Crosswinds:
If you get takeout here, be sure to check your order. Saturday special, fried chicken comes only in servings for 2, 4, 6, etc. Our order for 2 had four very small pieces of chicken and the coleslaw I was told came with it was missing. It did have two acceptable biscuits and two servings of mashed potatoes with gravy. I also got an order of jambalaya that was mostly soupy tomatoes with a lot of cod but very few shrimp... My experience at the restaurant was quite good overall. This was my first visit to Nantucket, and I absolutely loved the scenery! However, I was not very impressed with the service. There was some confusion about whether we should wait to be seated or if we could just find a table ourselves. We asked one of the staff members for clarification, but he turned away without providing any assistance. I raised my voice a bit and asked him to guide us on what to do, and he simply told us to "Just sit where you want," while pushing us away. This left me feeling quite dissatisfied, as I believe this is not an acceptable way to treat paying customers. On a positive note, my waiter was extremely attentive to our needs, and we really appreciated his excellent service.

I also got an order of jambalaya that was mostly soupy tomatoes with a lot of cod but very few shrimp and little linguica, but some pieces of carrot apparently as a substitute and not enough rice to absorb all that tomato liquid. Flavor was OK but otherwise disappointing. The meal was not really worth the $51 cost.
Female staff spend more time talking to pilots and men that were alone. Staff did not acknowledge my family. Rude staff. Another family commented on being there for 40 minutes and only had water. If you are a man you will get served otherwise don’t botherGot up and left and went to another restaurant
Disgusting. Was served wilted unwashed lettuce. The fish sandwich wasn't beer battered, it was like pancake batter. The fish smelled weird and I have had diarrhea since a few hours after I ate it.
The food was really good, the service was quick. They have a small coffee shop within the restaurant. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience.
