I probably went with a bit too high of expectations because of a friend's recommendation but this place couldn't satisfy me even a wee bit. Ambiance: 3.5/5 Food: 2.5/5 Service:3.5/5 Let's start with ambiance. It basically has a couple of places where you could sit. I guess about four different areas you can choose from. Open, under the roof, facing the musicians or the traffic, you choose. They had a 3 artist band who had a keyboard, guitar and a bass guitar out - one of them also being a singer. They started playing at 8 but the music was not captivating. The furniture again was okayish, not the best to the comfort. Coming down to the service, there was just one server serving about four tables at a time and he was pretty decent and quick. No doubt the restaurant wasn't crowded on the Wednesday evening we went but still he managed the tables well enough and was easily available/accessible when needed. He did understand Hindi and English (I'm sure Kannada as... read more

No doubt the restaurant wasn't crowded on the Wednesday evening we went but still he managed the tables well enough and was easily available/accessible when needed. He did understand Hindi and English (I'm sure Kannada as well) and was wise at suggesting the quantity. The food? Yeah, that's the only thing that wasn't too well there. Made me feel that it's more of (just a) Pub than a (potential) restaurant. We ordered: 1. Scotch Egg: It was supposed to be out layered by Minced Mutton (Keema) but it felt to be a bit tasteless and raw. The taste of Onions was even more prominent than the Keema itself. 2. Mushroom Manchurian - I asked for a dry Pepper Mushroom dish but was served a manchurian. We bothered not to send it back and it was the only thing that we enjoyed a wee bit. 3. Chicken Tikka Masala - Bland, tasteless and eh :/ Tbh nothing good about this one. 4. Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan - Cheese Naan couldn't satisfy us that it even had cheese in it. Garlic Naan had small chunks of garlic literally smudged into the Naan. It totally lacked the flavor. Overall not recommended until and unless you're going there for Beer (which I can't comment on since I didn't try it)
This is one of the best places to hangout for beer in Mysore. They serve beer at the right temperature and the ambience is appropriate for everyone. There is a separate family section which is one of the best things about this place. They have live performances in the evening which is really good too. Food is yummy too. Especially bihari chicken and the sizzlers are a must here. In love with this place.
This place can get really crowded during the weekends.. The waiting time was 30min for starters... So we decided to try it on a weekday... We ordered scotch egg, pepper mushroom and chicken chatapati...all the dishes were well prepared... The waiters here are a bit lost or dull.. And the billing in this place was really confusing at first.. Separate bills for everything!
