Chaai Junction is one of its kind hangout places in Mysore. Located on Temple Street, Jayalakshmipuram, it's been my go to place on the weekends just to get my work done.<br/ It's a very beautiful place with a well lit, well maintained green interior design. It's a good place just to hang out with a couple of friends or to have a date coz it is a romantic place or to even have your business talks and get your work done like I do considering they have free Wi Fi !! What's more to note in this place is the choice of music which is the latest tracks in English and a good choice of playing English movies on TV. <br/ Self service but the service is pretty fast and also the voice of food is pretty good too.<br/ They serve a variety of teas of which I have a few favourites myself. The teas taste really good and also are their sandwiches are a must have. Masala Chai, peach apricot and saffron almond teas are really good.<br/ Apart from the fact that it's slightly overpriced really good place and is a much visit in Mysore.<br/ It's an amazing place for a date coz the music isn't loud and the interiors are apt for a quite and classy evening <br/ <br/ Ambience 4/3<br/ Service 4.5/5<br/ Dinner : 4.4/5<br/ Overall : 4/5

Nice place to hangout for people from college. All products are rightly priced. According to me a better place than CCD. Well placed in Mysore.

It was on zomato, where I found this cafe and went for a lazy Sunday brunch.<br/ <br/ I feel, its the ambiance of this cafe that catches ones attention! Very clean, calming and roomy interior. Well upholstered couches, trendy chairs couple of good magazines on the table enhance your experience sitting there. <br/ <br/ The menu has a vast variety of beverages, especially tea and has variety of burgers, sandwiches, quick bites and combos to offer.<br/ <br/ The presentation of food is good, but the taste itself is not inspiring. The kitchen has plain glass windows, which shows the level of hygiene, which is actually good!<br/ <br/ It 's a self service eatery and the delivery of dishes is slow but tolerable as this is not a darshini restaurant where you go, eat and leave.. This place is ideal for a lazy brunch or evening cuppa with friends with time not being a concern.<br/ <br/ I had a 'so called ' Spinach Corn Hot Dog, Black Ice tea with lime and an eggless chocolate cake. In general, all three were good, but the term hot dog is kinda misleading. Hot dog contains sausage, so i was expecting some kinda marinated fried long chunk stuffed between sausage buns. Here it was a filling of spinach leaves, with mayonnaise, some sauce and boiled sweet corn. The taste was kinda good, not delightfully good. Ice tea was nice and cake tasted good, but consistency of cake was again questionable. My perception of cake is fluffy, soft inner side with creamy, sometimes gooey icing all over. The cake here was hard and flat.<br/ <br/ All said, I still liked this place and the reason for a rating of 3.5 is cause of consistency issues with the dishes.<br/ <br/ The breakdown of ratings now..<br/ <br/ Location: A 4! On a commercially important road, close to a posh residential locality and college.<br/ <br/ Ambiance: A 4.7!! Calm, laid back with some good music to enjoy your snack.<br/ <br/ Food: A3... Taste is average, great presentation, questionable consistency.<br/ <br/ Service: A 3.4.. Dishes take time to be served, but well, for hanging out with friends, who is in a hurry anyway?? :P<br/ <br/ Price: A 4.. Most dishes and beverages are priced reasonably. Few are overpriced..<br/ <br/ Definitely a place worth hanging out..
