Was Akhil P at Vinayaka Mylari a mag?
I felt this place was over hyped by the reviews but trust me this is the best place to have masala dosa when you’re in South India. br/ br/ They have only one item in the menu which shows their confidence in serving the best.It cost 45₹ with butter on it and the soft dosa with spicy masala in it. br/ br/ br/ If you’re in mysore, this is one of those places to visit after mysore palace View all feedback.
What Nidhi Persad dislikes about Vinayaka Mylari:
the dosa was delicious, but a tiny dosa is for $45. Rip-off. they need at least 4-5 doses per person. no value for money. Tastes like sada dosa or put dosa from any other hotel, just something extra is that they put some butter on the head. not worth the hype. View all feedback.
It was a unique experience . You should accept the fact that you are entering a restuarant that have maintained their tradition for the past 80 years, so you might not find any recent takes on how the food is served. That beinh said, dosa which is their main highlight is served in a very simple way with some masala but prepared in lots of butter and ghee. You will find it definitely interesting as it adds a different experience to our taste buds. However, if you are going in with an expectation on best dosa in all Karnataka, you could be disappointed because we have various types of dosa that tastes more mordern with different types of chutneys and all. The seating capacity is very low and hence you will always find a small crowd infront of it.The serving pace is very quick and people get in and out within 20 mins. Parking is another issue as this is a small shop on main road.
Little overhyped, dosas were good and tasty, but great tho. Definitely will have to wait and it’s a very small congested place. Second floor is renovated. Service will be slow due to crowd especially on weekends
Went on foodie spree to try out this much hyped Masala dosa of Mylari. Not to be surprised, had to wait in the queue not knowing how long the wait would be. As all of us were desperate for food after an early start. Fortunately we didn't have to wait long. Basic infrastructure, we tried the Masala dosa. I should definitely credit the crunchy outer and soft inner dosa with a different type of filling. The coconut chutney was good. Ofcourse wrapped up with the aromatic coffee. Sure a try for a foodie.
Mylari dose is famous shop at namma Mysore<br/ We need to wait in long qeue for to get BISI bisi mylari special dose..<br/ Palya given with dose ,is a showstealer..<br/ Green in colour tastes Amazing in very bite.. staffs are friendly..<br/ Although my friends though it was overhyped..but i like it..<br/
The softest and the best dosa ever. This place was small but the stuff was just too good. The dosa with a dash of home butter and a very different kind of vegetables stuffing was just amazing. The idlis were super soft with the most flavour some coconut chutney. Early morning surprise breakfast in Mysuru.
