We couldn't get a reservation anywhere else, this place had covered us! Sushi is amazing! Drinks, service and Hibachi were amazing. This place is a hidden jewel! When we were here at 6:30 a.m. on a Friday, we were not busy at all. Now they jump! Totally recommended!! We'll be back next summer! I love this place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sugami:
Ran out of drink multiple times. One of the appetizers came in the middle of eating. And the salads were delivered while the cook was cleaning the grill. Waitress didn’t say she was sorry and kept disappearing for a long time. I did call the manager she said she so sorry about that happening and have a good day. View all feedback.

Tu and Amy are the best! The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Tu’s personality and constant strive for perfection is what drives this place. Amy intuitively knows exactly what you need and brings it before you can ask. Tu’s homemade sauces set the flavors apart from anything else. Treat yourself and pay this place a visit. Also the best is it serves late night without sacrifice.
Great food and great service! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind. The sushi was fantastic and even with a few other patrons in the restaurant, it came out semi-quickly! We even went back and ordered a second round of sushi because it was that good! The menu was quit large and had several options for appetizers, sushi, entrees, and hibachi!
Small restaurant, highly suggest reservations, especially if a larger party. As a family of 4 we lucked out and were seated fairly quickly. We saw multiple parties of 6 or more they were not able to seat. If you want hibachi you have to make a reservation. The food was delicious. It took forever for our order to be taken and then everything came out in a weird order. We placed orders for a couple of appetizers first- the waitress suggested she go turn them in and then she would come back to get the rest of our order. Our kids ordered “kids hibachi meals” and those came out first, then our sushi and other food and eventually the apps. Again- delicious food.
This is a small Japanese restaurant with great food. We got there early and sat at the bar and enjoyed great sushi and drinks. When the rest of the people arrived, we ate around the habitchi table as the cook did his show. The food was great. The restaurant was not crowded, but as people discover how good it is, I am sure that this will change. We will definitely go back again.Vegetarian options: Two of the people in our group had dietary preferences. The chef cooked their food separately from the group's portions and adjusted their food to meet their needs. We all received our food at the same time and we were all very happy with our meal.
