What John Alhelm doesn't like about Gulfstream Cafe:
Best views of the water and sunsets in the area and a good place to have drinks but the food is lacking in our opinion. Shrimp cocktail was excellent but pricy for only 6 shrimp. Mediocre and dry bread, barebones salad and the fried seafood was decent as was the salmon. Again, the views are amazing and the bar is solid just not a fan of the food overall. View all feedback.
Food and service are always wonderful and the view from the restaurant is spectacular at sunset!!!

We had a wonderful dining experience tonight at Gulfstream Cafe. The food was delicious, She Crab soup out of this world, scallops lightly battered and fried, and delicious French fries. The atmosphere was lovely looking over the marsh, not too noisy and dinner service came out appropriately. My father ordered 2 appetizers for dinner and the server checked how he wanted them to come out. Our server Toney was very good- polite, informative, checked back with us, and apologized for taking awhile to get the check to us. The timing of everything was perfect, we were not rushed at all. Parking can be a little tricky- you just have to get lucky but you will love your food experience.
The food was really good and the atmosphere was beautiful, but unfortunately, they are extremely understaffed and it took almost 2 hours to get our meal. Forget about asking for more drinks or even A1 steak sauce. Cause it ain't happening. Anyway, it was so frustrating, especially when you have a 2 yeR old boy withnyoubecause it's very pricey and you want to have a nice meal with your family but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Very frustrating experience but awesome food!
