Could have been a little warmer on the cold day we were there. Food and service was very good
This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. We chose to eat out on the deck. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was awesome. We will definitely go back!!
Great food, .loud music. Fun place. We will go back
First time our experience was not excellent at this restaurant. Had to wait minutes to get water and drinks ordered. Very slow service and only or tables occupied while we were there...
Gulfstream restaurant offers beautiful atmosphere and delicious food, making it a favorite for many diners. However, recent experiences have been marred by long wait times, cold food, and understaffing issues. Despite these challenges, the quality of the food and service stands out, with attentive servers like Dawn making the dining experience enjoyable. It is recommended to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointments. Overall, Gulfstream remains a promising dining option for those looking for a special meal with great views and tasty dishes.

The Gulfstream restaurant has always been one of our favorites for us to return to each year and to bring new friends. This year wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. The food like the spinach and coffee were on the cold side. The filet mignon medallions were very dry and overdone not like asked for as medium. I hate to complain about these kind of things because sending food back just doubles the timeframe of sitting there and waiting while everyone else is eating their meal. You’ve got to do better!
Great food and views of the marsh. At night with the lights and during the day with the sunshine
We had a reservation but to wait for over 30 minutes. Waitress was less than attentive. Soup was cold, crab cake dry, burger bun burnt. Very disappointing experience.
Awesome food and value The service was awesome as well
We arrived at the time of our reservations. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait or we could sit outside. We decided to sit outside. After a 40 minute wait we were informed that no one was assigned to wait on our table.

Best views of the water and sunsets in the area and a good place to have drinks but the food is lacking in our opinion. Shrimp cocktail was excellent but pricy for only 6 shrimp. Mediocre and dry bread, barebones salad and the fried seafood was decent as was the salmon. Again, the views are amazing and the bar is solid just not a fan of the food overall.
First time dining here. Food was good but not great for the price. Service was not bad but not great. Seated us early which was appreciated. Views of the marsh at sunset were beautiful.
We were outside and it was a gorgeous nite and was calm and relaxing. Matt was our server and he was amazing! Promptly greeted us and was very friendly and professional. Our food was delicious and we could not have asked for a better dining experience. One of our favorite places, so we will definitely be back.
When I reserved through OpenTable there was a question about what was the occasion. I indicated it was our 40th Anniversary not thinking it would be acknowledged. I was wrong. We were wished Happy Anniversary by the Hostess, shown to priority seating, and was greeted by the manager who also acknowledged our Anniversary. Our server even congratulated us. The manager checked back with us a couple of times. We were offered complimentary champagne but declined but we did accept complimentary desserts. The food was delicious, service was great and our overall experience was over the top. Thanks to Gulfstream Cafe and staff for making our 40th Anniversary one to remember.
Fabulous service, delicious appetizers, amazing meals and cocktails! The view is spectacular! My favorite place for dining. Gwendolyn gave us top notch service. The manager, Jason, is a true professional.

The food was really good and the atmosphere was beautiful, but unfortunately, they are extremely understaffed and it took almost 2 hours to get our meal. Forget about asking for more drinks or even A1 steak sauce. Cause it ain't happening. Anyway, it was so frustrating, especially when you have a 2 yeR old boy withnyoubecause it's very pricey and you want to have a nice meal with your family but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Very frustrating experience but awesome food!
We started with a special cocktail and then the calamari Their portions are large, fresh bread and seafood are always on point.
Great staff and great food. The area is largely very touristy and kitschy, which is fine, but these folks can give you a classy experience that will stand out from everything else. The view is SPECTACULAR. Especially at and following sunset. It's magical. So glad we found this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time visiting the Gulfstream Cafe and it was wonderful. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated almost immediately. My wife and I both had the side salads and they were very good. The honey lime dressing was excellent. For the main course my wife had the shrimp grits and I had the crab cakes. Everything was delicious. Service was spot on and since we were sitting outside at sunset, the view was to die for!! Cannot wait to go back again.
Fantastic menu and service. Fresh drinks were delivered before current drinks were empty. Cleaned plates were removed from the table as soon as we were done. Best service we have had at a restaurant in 3+ year since COVID began.
Great place to eat as the sun sets. We made reservations, I would say that?s your best bet if you go for dinner. The staff was nice. The food was pretty good, felt there could?ve been a bit of a bigger menu.
My husband and I ate there for the first time. Everything was very nicely presented. We had the Salmon and Grouper. Delicious! When we entered and told them it was our first visit, they immediately moved our seats so we would have a great view while dining! The bread they served which came from a local bakery was divine. Our waitress was very nice and knew her menu and when I asked between 2 dishes she offered detailed difference in entrees! We will definitely be returning!
We didn't have a reservation and they seemed busy. But they found us a table outside on the patio. We watched a beautiful sunset over the marsh and I had the best fish I have had in SC in the two years I've been going there. My friend has allergies and they were very accommodating. She was actually able to enjoy some wonderful chicken! We will be back!

Highly recommend! The shrimp and grits came recommended from the server, and she was correct. The texture of the grits was perfection. The catch of the day was swordfish, and it was cooked to perfection. The Cesar dressing was amazing as well. Patio view can't be beat. Plan ahead with reservations, we walked right in past all of the people waiting. It is a dining experience, so don't plan to be in and out in a hour. Will be returning!!!
First time eating here. We're visiting family and they suggested we eat here. Love that you can make reservations as most resturants around here don't take reservations. Also lived how their fried seafood platter can also come blackened or boiled, which is a great alternative if you are food conscious. The views were spectacular, staff friendly and personable, the menu had lots of variety and everything was amazing. Worth the visit and would love to go back before we leave.

We had a great dinner at Gulfstream Cafe. The salad was fresh with all homemade dressing and the Gulfstream Seafood Pasta (shrimp) was delicious. Highly recommend.
Bartender knows how to make a good drink. Service and food were good
