Was John Taschek at MURPHYS Grille a mag?
We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the scallops were fantastic (both were on the specials menu), and the cheeseburger was delicious, especially with the pretzel roll. Just a heads up, they automatically put mayo on the burgers, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan. The homemade tables added to the cozy atmosphere. The wine pours were standard and precise. Overall... View all feedback.

Upon seeing Caesar Salad on the menu at a restaurant, I become cautious. A true Caesar salad is simple to make, yet many places opt for pre-made dressing and a sprinkle of parmesan, passing it off as authentic. This makes me wonder - is the dressing homemade? Does it have anchovies? These are important questions to ask. The Caesar Salad at Murphys Grille is far from authentic. It resembles something I might throw together at home on a weeknight with store-bought dressing. While the restaurant has a nice outdoor patio and decent service, the food falls short of being impressive. It's basic and lacks flavor. This sentiment applies not just to the Caesar salad (which I ordered with bland grilled chicken), but also to the Fried Calamari and sandwiches my friends ordered. While dining in a small town like Murphys may not be as refined as in a city, there are still better options available (such as Alchemy). If you're content with simple food, a pleasant patio, and friendly service, then Murphys Grille will suffice.
Stopped by on a Monday afternoon for lunch. No wait so we had quick service, with that being said, the service was great! Our gal was cheerful, helpful and fast. Each course came out in a timely fashion, not to quick and not to slow... out of all places so far inland we decided to get the soup of the day, calamari, salad and fish n chips. We felt it being risky questioning how fresh the sea food could be, but when we got it we were so pleased to greet our warm, fresh food! The fish was perfectly fried, super flakey and cook with perfection. Calamari, salad and soup were also just as perfect! A bit pricey for lunch but considering what we ordered and it being a nice treat we enjoy every moment there. Weather was perfect so we hung out at the patio for some time even after eating. We noticed in the background they were closing up but not once were we bothered to leave, they allowed us to hang out as long as we wanted. Of course we were polite and decided to leave to hit up the next ice cream parlor a few doors down... Ha see next review! Highly recommend getting your dessert there.
Don't know where to start! Lilly Pad Pinot Gris was off the hook! I have the pulled pork wrap with salad. My mom had the Ruben with fries. The fries were thick with thick ground sea salt, the wrap was grilled and thrbpockeled onions set it off perfectly!!!!! Our new favorite!! Waitress was a doll!!!!
Good place for a quick lunch. It was a hot day, they were understaffed (overheard one of the servers complaining about the busboy being gone), and yet we were served with a smile, and the food was good! Great calamari, and good fish and chips. Easy on the budget and on the main drag.
Popped in for lunch....... I haven't had a Rueben sandwich in years and try the sandwich here. It was outstanding! Full of flavor, moist, a true taste treat. Husband said his chicken sandwich was OK but not off the charts. It was crowded and the service was slow but the waitress was wonderful and personable which helped take the sting out of the wait. Thumbs up, we will be back!

I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The service was great, the staff was attentive and friendly. There were plenty of delicious options on the menu. It's clear that they put a lot of effort into their dishes, as the quality and attention to detail were exceptional. I would definitely go back to eat there again when I'm in town.
The restaurant offers a wide selection of healthy and delicious options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. I highly recommend trying the Turkey special, it was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and salad, while I loved the salmon on another visit. The service was attentive and the food arrived promptly. I was impressed to learn that they prepare everything from scratch. The restaurant also offers a great variety of local wines. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
Not too shabby. The whole strip is overpriced. The food was good and the staff was fantastic! My date was vegan with an allergy to dairy. The staff was way more than helpful in making sure that everything was up to par. If you're going to be in the area, this place is the restaurant I would suggest visiting. Good food and good people.

I ordered lunch and the waitress recommended trying the kid-sized fish and chips. We didn't want a large meal, and it was perfect. The service was excellent. This meal was for lunch and the price per person was $10-20.
We absolutely loved everything we ordered! From the salmon to the steak to the kids menu options, everything was delicious. We were thoroughly impressed with every dish. The service was excellent. We dined in for dinner and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, the staff was friendly and attentive. There were plenty of delicious food options to choose from. It is clear that they take pride in their work, as the quality and attention to detail were outstanding. I would definitely dine here again when I return to town. They also offer a great vegetarian and even vegan burger option. The prices for lunch ranged from $20 to $30 per person.

A few years ago, I visited Murphy's Barbecue and was disappointed to find very few vegan options on the menu. However, they have since added several vegetarian and vegan choices. I decided to try the delish burger with a Beyond patty and it was absolutely delicious! The burger was large, flavorful, and messy - everything you want in a burger. The pesto added a unique touch that made it even more interesting. I would definitely order it again! Also, their tropical icy drink is amazing!
