My mom would drive over 300 miles to get a perfect pie. This is it!! The best crust and amazing filling. THIS IS WORTH STOPPING ANY TIME!! I love this place. Thank you View all feedback.
A great place to stop and pick up some snacks. I’m especially partial to their apple cider pops and apple fritters. If they’re not sold out I also pick up some apple cider doughnut.
Best apple fritters and cider. The apple pie is HUGE and the homemade crust is packed with apples, no hollow top here. I recommend calling ahead with your order to avoid disappointment. This small family owned and operated farm stand is a very busy destination and sells out. Great selection of apples, hot cider to warm you up on cold days and a beautiful selection of baked goods.

Red Apple is a must stop if you 're driving along scenic highway 4! We had to use the facilities and pulled over unplanned on our way to Calaveras Big Trees. So glad we did! The baked goods are absolutely first rate, you can taste the quality of the ingredients and it is so apparent that everything is grown and baked with love and expertise. Had a chance to chat with Lloyd and Bear on the way out, they are such wonderful souls and the passion they have for the area and the apples shines through their beings. Lloyd was kind enough to gift us two Cosmic Crisp apples we shared them on the rest of the drive to Big Trees and they live up to their name!! So delicious! Out of this world!! The apple and strawberry rhubarb turnovers were pure bliss! Washing it all down with some sweet and refreshing cider topped off the experience. Stop and give these amazing humans tons of money so they can keep this wonderful thing going! Cash only, with a 10/10 portapotty 'clean, no smells, no feelings of disgust ' says my Love Morgaine with a reminder that soon there will be BBQ on the weekends!
Love live this place. Beat apple fritters ever. Get there early. They sell out. Apple pie is second favorite. Takes cash only come prepared to spend 25 bucks. Well worth it. Staff friendly and easy going.
