She didn’t use any polite phrases like “excuse me” or “pardon me.” When we explained that we were waiting for our reserved table, she informed us that they had assumed we would be dining outside. Given that it was 94 degrees at the time and we had several guests over 70 in our group, this wasn’t an acceptable option for us. When we pointed out that the website didn’t allow us to choose between indoor or outdoor seating, her response was blunt: “that’s not my problem.” Once again, I want to emphasize that the food was good and our serving staff was attentive, but our initial encounter with this rude employee, who handled the outdoor seating, left a negative impression on our entire evening.

I started with the Nugget Bread appetizer and then had the Asian fried chicken, which was absolutely delightful. For dessert, I indulged in the chocolate peanut butter cake, and it was heavenly! Gabby was incredibly helpful and attentive to all our dining needs.

But shortly after we ordered our drinks, the hostess informed us that her manager wanted us seated at a table, though it would be a few more minutes before we were served. By 8:30, still no one had taken our order, so I sought out a staff member. When the waitress finally came over, she said she hadn’t been notified that we were in her section. Fortunately, her service and the food were both good. However, the hostess seemed quite unprofessional and disorganized, constantly flipping through multiple sheets in her notepad to track waiting guests and loudly shouting across the restaurant to communicate with staff.

However, our waitress seemed overwhelmed and was more attentive to other customers, leaving us without water and waiting a long time for our bill. When we finally went to pay, a woman who had been sitting at the bar the entire time acted as if she hadn’t noticed us and asked where we wanted to sit. It seemed the manager or owner was also unaware of what was happening, which was quite frustrating.
